Adolfo (55), a famous short story writer, decides to write his first novel and gives his daughter Dalia (6) the gift of allowing her to include a character in the story. She chooses a goat, like her stuffed toy.

After the death of her father, Dalia (15) is kidnapped by the characters in her father’s story. Through a portal, she is incorporated into the plot of the unfinished novel: The Red Book. As she struggles to find a way out and is helped by the goat, Dalia must face the characters in the story, who will do anything to become the protagonists of the book. She is the only one capable of writing the final chapter, although she does not feel confident enough.
